Bangkok Asylum Seeker and Refugee Assistance Network (BASRAN) was formed to coordinate the efforts of refugee‐assisting organizations to better serve the urban refugee and asylum seeker population in Bangkok through the sharing of information about the current situation that is experienced by this unique community.
BASRAN is comprised of a number of organizations and individuals in Bangkok, including UNHCR, Bangkok Refugee Center (BRC), Jesuit Refugee Services (JRS), Asylum Access Thailand (AAT), Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network (APRRN), BPSOS, a number of churches, grassroots organizations, devoted individuals and refugees themselves that are working directly with the refugee population.
BASRAN works in coordination with refugee community based organizations through our working groups: Health Working group and Education Working Group.
